No, the system equipment and installation costs are the responsibility of the distributor. Distributors own and maintain all Clean Shield equipment. The only cost to you is the product used.

Leaking System

  • Can I shut off a leaking system?

Yes, there is a white and blue valve (typically located in the paper-towel area). A quarter-turn will shut off the flow to the squeegee bucket. If the valve is lost or broken, pinch hose (like a pinching off flow to a garden hose). Secure with clamp or rubberband, etc. Follow troubleshooting steps to repair a leak. Report leak if unsuccessful in resolving problem. Call our Toll-free number to leave a message (844) 214-6112 or send an email to service@cleanshieldusa.com

  • Is fixing a leak easy?

    Yes, here are the steps:

    1. Shut off flow at the valve located in the paper-towel holder.

    2. Lift bucket out of washer fluid unit recess, and check the hose going into the elbow going into the bucket. Most leaks come from here as the hose needs to be pushed fully into the elbow. Turn on to veryfiy that the leak has stopped.

    3. If bucket continues to over-fill, pour out contents of bucket into a reservior (5-gal pail or mop bucket). Turn off valve. remove the 2 screws (Phillips "Cross" screwdriver) that secure the float plate located inside the bucket, lift plate with adjustable float out of the bucket. Adjust float to a lower setting (similar to a float in a tolet tank). Tighten wing-nut. Replace float plate and secure with the 2 phillips screws.

    4. If bucket continues to over-fill, Call our Toll-free number to leave a message (844) 214-6112 or send an email to service@cleanshieldusa.com
